Kudos DB.
When the work outgrows the website.
Kudos DB is a London-based design and build studio delivering high-end residential renovations — working with renowned architects, designers, and contractors to produce considered, beautifully executed homes.
They had new branding, a strong portfolio, and a reputation worth sharing. The website still looked like it belonged to a different business.
Their website said less than their work
The previous site had fallen behind. Kudos had evolved — new branding, a sharper offer, and a growing portfolio of high-end residential work — but online, none of that was coming through. For a studio where trust and first impressions are everything, a site that undersells the work isn't neutral. It's actively working against you.
Prospective clients arrive at conversations already informed — they've seen the projects, understood the process, and made up their minds before the first call.
Built around their process as much as their portfolio
We designed around the photography first — generous layouts, restrained colour, space that lets the imagery breathe without competing with it. Alongside the portfolio, we made the Kudos approach visible: their integrated Design + Build model, with a single team coordinating specialists and subcontractors from brief to handover, needed to be understood before a client committed. Kudos manage their own case studies through the CMS so the portfolio stays current as the work keeps coming.
